Screen Printing Carbon Ink Silver Color For Circuit Board

Substrate:

Screen Printing Conductive Carbon Ink wide range for various electronic membrane switch treated and untreated polyester substrate, especially processed polyester ink attached to the first power of a good, such as UV inks and ink characters insulation. It can also be used on other substrates, such as polyimide, PVC,PET,PC, ABS, rigid PCB substrate, circuit board or the like;

Printing equipment:

Screen Printing Conductive Carbon Ink conductive to determine the weight of the film, may be used 250 meesh-300mesh artificial net, but the resistance will vary with the purpose of the network changes, and the corresponding scraping with a polyester mesh is obtained more good results.

Conductive Carbon Ink in most cases they can be directly used, if you want to reduce the viscosity, can be added as little thinner, but no more than 5%, otherwise it will reduce the dry weight, improve resistance.

Drying: 130 ℃ 5-15 minutes

Saving:25℃

Tip:Please mixing about 10 minutes before you use this ink.

3. Packaging Specification Selection Guide (1 kg / 5 kg /18 kg), Storage & Shelf‑life

表格

Packing Spec Description Best‑fit Scenario
1 kg sealed iron can(standard stock) CERES‑YT‑581 branded tin‑can; 12 cans per export carton Sample trial, small‑batch electronic‑circuit production; MOQ 1 kg
5 kg metal pail Medium‑volume workshop consumption Mid‑size flexible‑circuit factory daily‑production
18 kg sealed metal pail Bulk industrial large‑capacity packing Mass continuous manufacturing line
OEM private‑label packing Custom sticker & custom export carton Reseller & brand‑customer; OEM MOQ 60 kg

Storage Condition & Shelf‑life

表格

Item Specification
Storage Temperature 15‑25 ℃; strictly avoid >30 ℃ high‑temperature warehouse, away from heat source
Relative Humidity 40‑65 % RH; warehouse dry & ventilated, keep away from open‑flame (solvent‑based flammable ink)
Sealing requirement Keep cans tightly sealed to prevent solvent volatilization & filler sedimentation. Stir thoroughly before each use after opening.
Shelf‑life 6 months for unopened original‑pack under standard storageAlibaba
Opened‑can usage suggestion Consume fully within 2‑3 months after opening; long‑term standing causes heavy conductive‑powder sediment, must fully re‑stir before use.

Warning: If ink shows irreversible thickening, agglomeration or obvious filler stratification before expiry date due to improper storage, discontinue usage.

4. Resistance‑value Measured‑data Table (variable by dry‑film thickness)

表格

Dry‑film Thickness Measured Average Sheet‑resistance (after 130℃ 10 min cure) Remarks
20 μm 90‑110 Ω/sq Thinner film → higher resistance
25 μm (target process) 65‑85 Ω/sq (nominal 75 Ω/sq) Recommended production process window
30 μm 50‑70 Ω/sq Thicker film → lower resistance, higher ink‑cost

Note: Actual resistance will also be affected by screen mesh, squeegee pressure, oven air‑flow and substrate surface energy; pre‑production test is mandatory.

5. Complete anti‑forgey Detection Instruction (Naked‑eye / UV / IR / Magnetic / Electrical‑testing)

This YT‑581 silver‑carbon ink is primarily a conductive functional ink. It can be used for conductive‑circuit anti‑forgey marks (circuit‑type security label).

  1. Naked‑eye (Daylight): Silver‑metallic grey visible trace; silver‑grey pattern can be seen directly, not fully invisible covert ink.
  2. UV‑light detection: Standard formula has no UV‑fluorescent property. UV‑fluorescent dual‑function available by custom‑formula.
  3. Infrared IR detection: Standard version has no special IR‑absorb / IR‑reflect feature; IR‑response can be customized.
  4. Magnetic detection: Standard silver‑carbon formula contains zero‑magnetic powder; cannot trigger magnetic detector; magnetic‑filler additive available for custom security grade.
  5. Core security detection — Electrical‑resistance testing(Primary authentication): Use multimeter / resistance‑detector to measure sheet‑resistance of printed trace; authentic mark shows resistance value near 75 Ω/sq; anti‑forgey substitute ink will show completely deviant resistance data.

Security‑tip: For high‑level security projects, combine this conductive‑ink with micro‑printing or OVI optical‑variable ink to build multi‑level anti‑forgey ‑system.

6. Application Scenario & Real‑case Display

  1. Flexible Membrane‑Switch Electronics: Household appliance membrane keypad, touch‑sensor printed‑circuit.
  2. Printed Flexible‑sensor & Electronic‑label: Low‑power flexible sensor for smart packaging.
  3. Conductive‑type anti‑forgey Label: Special security tags verified by resistance‑testing instrument (for high‑value goods brand‑protection).
  4. Certificate & Document Auxiliary Security Mark: Conductive trace embedded inside certificates; authenticity verified via multimeter resistance‑measurement.

Note: Not suitable for banknote‑grade currency printing; designed for membrane‑switch, flexible‑circuit and brand‑security‑label.

8. FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is MOQ? A: Minimum order quantity is 1 kg. Small‑batch test sample available for press trial; sample freight borne by customer.

Q2: What is delivery lead‑time? A: Stock goods: ship within 3 working‑days after payment confirmed. Custom‑formula / OEM private‑label goods: 14‑18 working‑days.

Q3: What customization service can you provide? A: Adjust target sheet‑resistance value; add UV‑fluorescent / magnetic / IR‑responsive functional components; OEM private‑label sticker & custom carton‑packing; black‑carbon / silver‑filler ratio tuning.

Q4: Logistics & shipping options? A: Ink belongs to chemical liquid goods. International courier: FedEx, TNT, DHL, UPS, EMS. Large‑volume bulk‑order choose sea‑freight or air‑freight. Payment terms: T/T, Western Union, Paypal.

Q5: Measured sheet‑resistance is much higher than target 75Ω/sq? A: Check: 1) Insufficient curing‑temperature / curing‑time; 2) Ink over‑diluted with thinner (>5 %); 3) Printed dry‑film thickness too thin; 4) Ink conductive‑filler sedimentation, not fully stirred before printing. Adjust process parameters accordingly.

Q6: Poor adhesion on PET substrate? A: Confirm PET is corona‑treated; check oven curing condition; match recommended screen‑mesh parameter.

Q7: Can I mix this silver‑carbon conductive ink with ordinary screen CMYK ink? A: Strictly not recommended. Mixing will destroy conductive‑filler network and cause resistance sharp‑rise or total loss‑of‑conductivity. If mixing is unavoidable, carry out full lab electrical‑performance test first.
